Serpent2A MATCH TO DIE FOR

A Matchmaker takes on a transsexual client to pay off a debt, which leads to murder and thrusts her into a world of men to women, women to men, janitors to terrorists, even snakes, as she searches for the killer.

Chloe Love, an edgy Marina del Rey baby boomer, has traded the handcuffs of probation work for those of the personal introductions business.  After three marriages and a string of relationships, she prefers to live alone with her dog Sweet Pea and leave the romance to her clients, or so she thinks.

A MATCH TO DIE FOR originates from my passion for mysteries, experiences in the single world and chance meeting with a male to female transgender. The notion life’s complex enough without having mind and body at war has inspired me to put pen to paper.

The first task was to finish the manuscript, which took five years and consisted of many workshops, classes, and support from fellow writers and editors. The next one was to market the book. Both journeys involved a lot of hard work, persistence and rejection. The reward turned out to be worth the effort.
